West Hamlin Volunteer Fire Department Stations

Main Station/Station 1 is located at 6647 Guyan Street in West Hamlin.
Housed here is Engine 551, Engine 552, Rescue 582, and Utility 591.
Sub-Station/Station 2 is located at 4 Mile Creek Road in Branchland.
Housed here is Engine 553, Utility 592, Utility 593, and Utility 599.
 
This station is located in a closed Elementary School that was donated to the Fire Department by the Lincoln County School Board. We installed Garage doors in the multi-purpose room, which gave us room to house our apparatus. West Hamlin VFD currently rents the class rooms as office space to offset the operation cost of this station.
Current projects in progress: We recently purchased the two lots beside our main station for future expansion. Once the property is cleaned up it will be expanded parking for station 1 until we are ready to expand our building. We are preparing for an ISO inspection, we feel with the recent improvements in several areas we can improve our rating therefore showing the people we serve that we are continuously working to become a better department and by lowering there insurance premiums
